I'm Considering buying a Vortex spas. Does anyone have any experience with this brand? Thanks, I would really appreciate the information!

The best way to find out how a spa is built and to see if it's right for you is to look inside at it's construction and sit in it and see how it fits your butt.

I'm confused. Your user name is Grandee. In a recent message you said - After the last 9 months being a first time hot tub(Hotspring Grandee) owner I 'm hooked!

He posted before that he was going to sell his Grandee and buy a swim spa...Hence Vortex Swim spa.
I would make sure I could sit in and look at the construction first hand before ever buying any spa...I would also make sure that I had a local dealer to service the product if a warranty issue was to ever arise. Vortex spas claims to have dealers out there...I would make sure I had one locally.

There's a guy by the name Ryan on here and he's with Vortex....He would be best to discuss your concerns.

I think this website is Vortex's showroom.
-
You may want to discuss how Vortex Spas are crated for shipping and who is shipping them.

LOL , now I'm confused! I did have a Hotspring that we enjoyed so much that we decided to do the swim spa thing. If Hotspring made a swim spa then I would buy it! So after careful consideration I think I have decided on Vortex. Aqualap 19' swim spa. The problem is it is very hard to get non biased information on ANY swim spa. So I've turned to the experts on this forum hoping to find some information.

Hydropool makes a very nice swimspa, not the most budget friendly on the market but spas/swimspas are like anything else...you get what you pay for

Check with all the manufactures of swim spas and see who's local or close and go kick some tires or rattle some dealers cages. Where are you located?

Ahh, I missed that! Swim spas are something I've never looked into. That does limit your choices somewhat!

After doing a lot of research I found out that vortex is a very reputable spa
company and they make a quality product. I'm very disappointed that I read a lot of misinformation on this forum.I have to wonder why. :-\
-
Not really sure how you can research them. I tried myself but you can't really find much online plus they don't have them in any stores. Did you buy one of heir swim spas?

What misinformation did we give you? I bet you found out that they are a reputable dealer from them didn't you? But you must of seen one to conclude they build a quality product? What did you compare it to?

Before you buy, ask how they are crating the spa and how they will proceed if the spa arrives damaged.
-
Our Swim spa doesnt go throught the same process as a regular hot tub . We do not need multiple carrier to deliver them so theres no worries plus they are delived to your door on a flatbed and from there a crane take care of it . For our regular hot tub we have to wood crate them as they were damaged in the past .
Hope this help .
If you move forward with a Vortex , It would be great that you share your real life experience on this forum .

Please do your research, Vortex in Quebec is a horrible company. Actually the business is run through a fireplace store as is printed on my CitiBank Statement (Maitre de Cheminees). I would advise doing considerably more research before doing business with this company (actually just one guy...Ryan). I bought in full a swim spa for over $15000.00 in February and by May still waiting. I asked for a refund, they said they would on May 8 after much haggling back and forth and here it is May 31, and still waiting for them to keep their word...horrible company, or actually just one guy...Ryan!!!

You send me 1. the proof that you refunded and 2. how Citibank deducted the amount out of your bank account and I will show it to them to confirm. If it is as you say then I will post my apology!!!

Where are our Appology Devorah ...,we showed you that your credit card company made a mistake not us and you said you would post your apology... still waiting

Kind of weird to post that email with her full name in it. You should probably delete that. Strange business practices you have airing dirty laundry like this.
-
I was thinking the same thing, Sam.
The word "unprofessional" came to mind when I read this.
-
He came here to sell. That didn't work out. Now he is airing dirty laundry.
Ryan, I think if you just help others by not making false claims of superiority this site will welcome you. Don't make claims of 5-10 grand savings over dealer sold products. Don't claim that you sell the same thing as the other guy for less money and just interject your opinion when asked. Then your input will be welcome. And don't assume we haven't seen hundreds of guys just like you do the same thing over the years, and fail.

Vortex Spas is now available from multiple dealers across the Country , Showroom locations can be found on their website . They have a facility in Vancouver where they stock , test and do the assembly of their products with Canadian made parts. These feedback are from 2014 and was made at a time where Vortex spas were only selling online and failed in deliverying their product on time . This is not the case anymore and I would suggest any of you looking for that product to go check the Ontario Distribution google review to see many real customer reviews .
best regards

Good Luck hope you are able to put a new face on Vortex Spas. Recent interaction indicates you are on the right track. Always sad when 1 bad dealer reflects on an entire brand.
-
Private message me the invoice and we will work it out .
