What's the exact model and a ballpark of what it's worth

Show us the tub?? A few jets and the name doesn't tell us much about what it's worth. What's it look like?

It is like 3 years old. Has all real stone looking sides. It's a cal spa. Just couldn't find a model name or number anywhere

The tub is in good shape. Just a little dirty from not being used other than a few times when new. And has sat for 4 years with minimal maintenance. They said it was like 8900$ new.
Has stereo and color changing  led lights

A 3-4 year old  good quality major brand tub from a private party in very good condition as you might expect if installed in a sheltered location should sell for something less than half of original purchase price.

Because that spa is powered by GE Motors, that adds at least $1,000 to the value  ;D

Sorry,

From the pictures you have provided, it doesn't look like it is in very good condition.  Who ever is selling it should take some time and clean it up and then take the pictures.
The receipt should have the age and model number noted on it.  Or, if you don't have access to that, you could pull the panel and check out the nameplate data.

It belongs to my uncle. He told me if I want it to make him a fair offer and it was mine. It isn't even for sale. That is why it isn't cleaned up. It is about a hour and half drive or I would go look again. Just wondered from the floor plan of any one could see what model it was

For only a 3 year old spa there seems to be a lot of crazing in the acrylic, also the topside looks older as well?   But then it is a Cal-spa.  It appears to be running so that's half the battle there.    If you get the serial # it will tell you much, you can go to Cal-spas website quick order parts section and enter the number in.  It will tell you exactly when it was built and which mdl it is..    Serial numbers usually look like this 10S-333069  should be on the equipment pak.

It's a long drive out to his place. Only go out there about 3 times a year. Snapped these few pics. I think three k is a good offer.

Are you sure it is three years old?  Who is selling it and will they offer a warranty?

I think I would pass on this one, unless it was given to me.

Based on what. Other than some wind dirt on it this thing is mint. Kept in a In closed deck? I was simply wondering what it is worth

Still is under factory warranty. For a few more years. All I wanted to know what the value.

Well it's a Cal, lower middle of the road quality to start. If he paid 8900 he got ripped off. So lets say it was worth 4500-5000 new. I would say if you offered him 2000-2500 now your in good shape if it is 3 years old.

Hot tub warranties are 1st owner only and do not transfer, as to MSRP, some brands over inflate it more than others, $8,900 seems high for a Cal brand tub in this size range, but this does vary from market to market and that price might include add ons, delivery fees, tax, etc.

If there are any warranty issues I will just have my uncle call them

If your uncle would call in any warranty issues then you should be good there. But I would agree that even tho its not very old...Its still a Calspa and $2K-2,500 is max value on a used retail market (for a used cal spa). That's a real fair price for both parties I would say...Your uncle obviously could care less about the spa and you are his family...your not stealing it from him and he's not giving it away either. Win Win

We sell Cal spa and that tub is at least 5 years old. If not older.

It's three years old and sat for four years?
I would just ask your uncle for a copy of the receipt / warranty info.  It should have the model number, year of manufacture, etc.
How does it run?
Good luck on your purchase.

Don't be afraid to make a "smart offer" to your uncle. If he's offended he can hold out for more, but I bet he won't. Unless it's 7 years old then I would go much lower? More like 1000-1500 If it runs and looks good. We have conflicting age information.

I think so as well, my guess would be around 5 or 6 years old..   3000 for me would be pushing it, the fact that it's not being used that much if ever for the most part.  He would probably be happy with 1000 to1500 and will either say no way or yes..

If he just provides you with the information on his bill of sale, someone here should be able to provide you with a fair market price.   Why can't he provide this to you? If I was selling something i would provixe all the information that I had.  -Just asking.
