Title: FL 1
Post by: Carmelo on February 14, 2014, 02:58:02 pm
I've got the dreaded FL 1 code on my control panel - read previous suggestions from 2009/10 - did everything that was suggested - flow is fine - replaced filters - suction is good - little light on panel goes on for a second when temperature increased then it turns off - HEEEEEEEEEEEELP - I need this to work - please give suggestions by order of importance - THANKS

Most of the time it's a bad circulating pump or an airlock/clogged filter.   I always suggest removing the filter, shut spa off for 20 min then restart without the filters in and see what happens..    What brand spa is it, and does it have a circulating pump, not to be confused with a 2sdp main pump running on low to circulate water..

Jacuzzi - has circulating pump - no little air bubbles coming up like it was doing before - actual pump is pretty hot when I touch it

Laing - Circulating Pump - Model # SM 909 NHW 143 (that's as far as I could read) - very hot to the touch - no air bubbles - this may be the problem (FL 1) - do they still make this pump?
