Hey y'all first time poster here.
I have Morgan Spa (not sure the model, but it's probably from early-mid 2000's. (Maybe a Morgan II Deluxe Digital Dual Pump) Everytime theres a power failure the spa comes back on, the display is blinking and the temperature is set to some ungodly hot degree like 190... And the spa tries to get there!!! I usually find it then at about 116-120 and I freak out. If I lower the temperature down it turns off, and of course once I pass 104 on the way down it won't let me increase it past 104. Plus the display is blinking but I think it does that after a power outage by design.
Do any of you know why it would be doing this? Is this a electronic failure? Do i have a setting off? I've checked the manual that I found on line, but there's no metion of setting like this. It just seems so weird that it would set it self to such a high temperature, and it only happens after a power outage.
Thanks for any input before I have to call a repair man (i'm pretty handy and would like to do it myself if possible.)

Welcome to the forum. That does sound like an electronic failure of some sort. Has it always done that? I've owned two tubs, the first one defaulted to 95F after a power failure and my current tub remembers the user setting on power up. I've been around a lot of electronic equipment with programmable read only memory and on rare occasions when something happens to it, it usually fails outright, but I suppose its possible the value in memory got scrambled.

No its only started doing that in the last few months.... I've left it off for 48 hours hoping to clear out anything. I guess there's no way to "reset" the memory?
