I had a pump (#2) that kept causing a GFI trip. Spa guy said it was pump 2 which he disconnected and since I've not had the trip issue. Spa guys around here are sort of flaky so he told me what I needed to order and I did. Installed the pump and plugged it into the control box in the pump 2 slot and natha! Nothing. No power. I then plugged pump 1 into the pump 2 slot and nothing again. I plugged the new pump into pump 1 and voila! The new pump plugged into pump 1 slot works fine. I think this narrows it down to pump 2 slot on the control box. but now the questions....
now what? Any assist would be appreciated. I really don't want to call the flaky spa guy back but he has the history on the issues. If there are some simple things I can do to get it running and save a buck that would be helpful.
