Title: Rookie Mistakes after 10 years
Post by: wmccall on May 13, 2013, 07:41:09 am
After being gone for a week, my lawn was a jungle and I wanted to do change the hot tub water and lawn work at the same time. MISTAKE 1.

When I was refilling I started to do some trimming. I fill my tub with 2 hoses.  I unrolled the one from the side of the house, stuck it in the tub and turned it on and continued to trim.  I happened to look in the tub and the water was as brown as a muddy river.  Apparently the end of the house must have been jammed down into the mud.  MISTAKE 2.

I jumped into the tub to start bailing out the brown water and filled it with grass clippings. MISTAKE 3.

Looks great today, but that was more work than necessary.

Please tell us this whole thing was videoed ;D

The wife asked me what I read that was so funny this morning.  I could see this happening to me.  Glad the tub is doing fine.

My worst refill mistake involves turning the hose on and forgetting it.

Now, that's bad enough on a patio, but you should see what happens when it's in a retail showroom floor...
