Title: Circulation pump run time ?
Post by: TdiDave on February 09, 2013, 10:57:25 am: I have a Jacuzzi 480 and was wondering what the consensus is on the run time of the circulation pump? I think the default is 12 hours but does anyone have a opinion of more or less run time?

From what I read, it pumps 35 gal per min. So it will pump or thus filter a 415 gal tub in about 12 min. So the water will be filtered 5 times a hr., and 120 times a day.

So far I am finding the 12 hours works fine. I suppose it might depend on how much you use your tub if its enough. In the 4 months I've owned mine, i haven't found a reason to change it yet.
