Hey guys, thought I'd toss this up for you so you could see two things. Â First, you can see what I look like, and second, you can see where I was sitting for Game 1 of the series.

I'm directly above the goal, wearing the Red Wings jersey with a guy next to me who is wearing a black shirt.
Best part about the timing of that goal is you can tell I'm on the phone, but I was talking smack to my cousin in Columbus at the time!

Coming to Columbus for Tuesday's game? I hope we win at least 1.

Would love to come, but can't because of my work schedule. I'm already tweaking my schedule because of the Griffins playoff schedule, so I can't do any more than that.
Kinda cool that both the Wings and their farm team - Griffins - are both up 2-0 in their respective series. Any one know if an AHL team and their parent NHL team have both won the cup in the same year?

Don't know that, but I do know that both the Pittsburgh and Wilkes-Barren/Scranton Penguins lost in the Stanley Cup and Calder Cup Finals last year. 8-)

Well, hopefully my boys won't go the way of the Penguins (both AHL and NHL) this year. Griffins just won the first round last night, so we're on to fight Manitoba.

Are the playoffs still going on? ;) Hoping for a Penguins Red Wings finals.

Looks like you got your wish!
Looks like the Penguins aren't going to get theirs though!

My Pennsylvania Facebook friends aren't real happy. I am watching and just enjoying the hockey regardless of the outcome. Though, I think there is small satisfaction knowing the team that knocked us out wins it all.
The Blue Jackets are starting to play hardball with Columbus now though. The other side of the coin of private companies building arenas is The Blue Jackets are telling the City of Columbus to buy the arena and telling them which tax to raise to pay for it. Pretty balsy.
