My new cover is in ...that was quick! I am trying a new type of spa blanket that has been custom cut to fit my tub..I really believe in the value of a spa blanket! I will update tomorrow when eveything is installed!

What is the cover saver? Are we perhaps talking about the same thing?? Is it what I call a spa blanket? I ordered my cover from my dealer. I knew if there were any problems that he would take care of them. My old cover is not one bit waterlogged..it is just that the center flap has shrunk a bit allowing steam to escape..considering that it is over 5 years old, I figure I got my money's worth.
I picked the cover up this evening, but probably won't install it until this weekend when my kids can help me. And it fit in the back of my van..so that was perfect! Hopefully, I won't have any issues installing it on my cover lifter..Just wondering what the life span of a cover lifter is?? I keep mine oiled like the dealer instructed, but I imagine all the wear and tear would eventually cause them to fail. :-\

I am in the market for a new cover for my Sundance Cameo after 4 years. Checked out doc's sight and will most likely go that route as it's more than $100 cheaper than my dealer's price for a new cover. May also opt for one of those spa blankets. But I'm not sure what the benefit is of that cover saver. Can someone explain the benefit? Thanks in advance.

How does it connect on the edge of the cover? Is it velcro glued to the plastic that is on the end of the webbing?
