Title: Its that week

The closest I can get to a hot tub tie in, is the victory soak afterwards. From a historian's point of view, many times has the big underdog won the game. But in this rivalry, I say kick them when they are down.

It should be a cakewalk, UMichigan couldn't even handle Toledo. They may be in the Medium10 but Michigan is no Penn State and would probably struggle to beat UOhio.

OSU should be able to bury Michigan the way USC buries team!

I just can't see them getting past Florida let alone beating the Big12 representative BUT at least they're in position where they've got a shot.

Good point. While it seems like it should be a cakewalk Auburn always finds a way to beat them lately. I think they're going for something like 7 in a row.

Bear Bryant is not walking through that door. Joe Namath and Ken Stabler are not walking through that door! Its time for 'bama to step up and punch their rival in the nose!!! But, as a non-'bama fan (never hated or loved them) it sure is tough to root for them now since they're coached by that weasel Nick Saban!!!

Post by: sonofsail on November 21, 2008, 11:45:58 am: All true. My wife is actually an Auburn grad and I'm a displaced yankee (Wisconsin) but it is fun to have a top ranked team in the state. I personally think Bama will beat Auburn but not Florida.
Saban...you love to hate the guy...

The state of Michigan is reeling from the car industry and they sure can't take solice in their football teams as UM is terrible, the Lions even worse and if you're an MSU fan your pretty good season took a hit with the drubbing they got from Penn St.
