Title: Calspa Avalon 844L Update
Post by: smokeandsoak on December 24, 2009, 03:42:01 pm
Hi Friends,

I dont post often, but I did want to check in and let you all know that I have had another worry free year of use from my Calspa Avalon 844L.  The tub is now over two years old and I have not had a bit of trouble since the minor issue I mentioned in my last update a year ago.  I am still loving the decision I made and I use the lounger more than any other seat.  I admit that some people dont care for the lounger as much (like my wife) so YMMV.  I have found that since I normally use the tub alone most of the time I can run one pump for the lounger and save a lot of energy.  Also making sure I close air valves when I get out helps with that.  Maybe I have also become desensitized to the higher bills?

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Yep Boni...I did get a soak in and it was wonderful. The nativity scene survived the haters this year, but it probably helps I keep it all cabled/locked down (see below)....terrible one has to lock down Christmas decorations but hey thats the world we now live in....plus I have a fake video camera in my front window that has a blinking light....it looks real.

GOod job locking it down, but not making it look bad because of the lock down.

wmccall...the worst event was when they actually drove a car right thru and over the Nativity scene...almost destroyed the entire scene...when it happened I was awoken thinking a plane was crashing into my front yard it was so loud....but that was at my old house and it was situated with a front drive-way where they could more easily pull that off....at this house there is no front drive-way and I keep the manger scene up closer to the house and the trees help prevent a similar crash through. The lock down helps prevent a "grab and run" punk vandal.....I've thought one day it may be necessary to actually put the entire manger scene on my roof where they cant get to it....but I guess the haters might burn the house down...lol....any-way I'm not gonna let them "win" and the last two years have been problem free.
