Title: Ohio State Fair 2009
Post by: wmccall on August 08, 2009, 09:09:35 am
There were 3 hot tub companies at the fair this year, up 2 from last year.  The repeat was a semi-local company that sells on the internet. One of the new ones was MAXX.  They are the old Colman right?  Last was Master Spa advertising their Factory Direct booth.  I have to check, they may no longer have a local company, I thought I heard the pool company that picked them up after their 25 year dealer dropped them , also dropped them.  Through all the marketing BS, i did see a couple of tubs I liked the layout of, they were my second choice back in 2003.

I'm right, the local pool company is no longer representing Master.  I went to their site, and had to give my info to get a ficticious address.  The address is listed as East 17th St, which doesn't exist, we have East 17th Ave and South 17th Ave.  If I guess they made a mistake and meant East 17th Ave the address just happens to be the Ohio State Fairgrounds, which I guess for this week is true, it also lists the poolandspashow.com. I'll have to check to see if that gets updated when the fair goes away next week.

Oh, yea, at all 3 dealers, exactly 75% of the tubs on the floor were marked, "Sold to the XXX family" I guess we are well on our way to economic recovery  ;)
