Title: Spa cover lifters??
Post by: Eco_Spas on February 17, 2009, 03:03:43 pm
Hello,

PROBLEM:  I'm needing some assistence in choosing a new supplier of "cover lifters", my current suppliers' lifters are not the quality product I expected. I've had more "issues" than I would like to have and it's costing me money.

RESULT: If I could get some recommendations of some other cover lifters that people are pleased with it would be much appreciated.

Thank you,

I've considered the CovermateIII before, and I like the look with the shocks. But I have yet to see any customer reviews. Do your customers seem happy with it? Or have you tried that model?

3rd that one on Leisure concepts, great company and people to deal with.

Covermate 1 probably goes out on 90% of our spa sales same with dura or smart steps.

We sell about 50% CoverMate 1 and 50% CoverMate 3.  They are both very reliable.  On occasion we see a problem with a shock on a CoverMate 3, but it's pretty rare.

Thanks Markee thats good to know.  my main concern about the covermateIII was the shock, and how long it would hold up. A "rare problem" is much better than a consistent one, and much easier and cost effective to handle.

Most of the time with the covermate3 its operator error.   Like kids trying to pull it down with out lifting the safety latch.

So Eco-spa your new here?  Tell us a little about yourself, brand, location all the fun stuff!

This is the one I have, I like how it mounts to the base of the tub, not the top.

It looks similar to the Covermate II

So about me?   I was an engineer for a spa manufacturer and have decided it is time for me to take my own route in the "spa industry" and help make it a "GREEN" product(not just a way to make money). The brand I sell will be of my own design, and my location is looking to be Boise, ID.
