I will be gone for awhile, I am getting my knee replaced tomorrow morning, very much looking forward to it!!
I folded my leg in half 24 years ago crab fishing in Alaska, so its been long over due. Anyway wish me luck!!
All Jacuzzi questions should be directed at Term!! Should make for some fun and interesting reading when I get back? ;D
See ya soon :D

Good luck JJ.
I've known a few people who've gotten their knees replaced and I always here the same thing "Wow, what a difference, I should have done this year ago".

If you have any extra parts, could you send them my way, Jim? Going for knee surgery myself Friday. NOthing as fun as yours, but I tore my knee up the beginning of December..Getting old stinks..
Best of luck, but I have to ask ...YOu went from crabbing to selling hot tubs? Talk about a career change...
Take care.

After crabbing I worked on coastal freighters in Alaska, then ran a shipping dock in Dutch Hbr Alaska for 12 years, so I didn't just jump right into hot tubs. Pardon the pun ;D
Thanks for the warm wishes guys!!

Good luck Jim and Boni, I hope you both heal fast

Thanks Canada... ;)

Have a quick recovery, in hindsight maybe you should have been selling Arctics all along, that knee would be in GREAT shape by now.

JJ, good luck. I replaced the inside half of my right knee 3 years ago and it was a great decision 6 months later. It will take that long to regain the strength in that knee. You will be in therapy for 6 weeks and the surrounding tissue will heal in the following months. I was scheduled to replace the inside half of my left knee last November then my doctor put me on Celebrex and it bought me some time. Best of luck but stay away from the hot tubs for 6 weeks or you will be sorry.
We appreciate all your help and advice on this forum.
