Tonight was the first night of curling, and boy was I tired. I'm out of shape. I'm glad I thought to turn the tub to 104. We hit it at the right time as the display set 105. Felt great on a tired body, with the cold air, approaching freezing, we were able to stay in it at least 20 minutes.

I think this sport is so odd - but I am glad you enjoy it. Anything that can get people out of the house and having a good time while gaining any amount of exercise is good in my book.
Have fun!!

Its oddity is what initialy drew me to it in the 70s. If I come home late from Curling my wife insists I go to the hot tub before she lets me in bed.

So was this sport designed originally for old guys with brooms as an excuse to drink and eat wings afterwords? ;) ;D 8-)

Curling is a great sport, very social, physical and tactical.
I find there is nothing better than getting into the tub after doing physical activity. Before the hot tub I used to wake up sore, not anymore.

Guelphgirl,
If you find yourself in Ohio, stop in and see our brand new 2 sheet curling facility. Speaking of sports, We beat Michigan and now we have a soccer championship team. Good relaxing soak tonight.
