Title: Sundance Temperature Question

I have a customer who is wondering if they can over-ride the temperature setting on their 3 year old Sundance.  They would like the spa to go over 104 degrees.  

Also, they are wondering how to convert from 110v to 220v.  Is it as simple as changing a dip-switch setting on the PC board?

 If he can find the right E-prom  he could, but doubt he will find one.   As far as going from 110 to 220 they have to move the neutral wire down a spot or two, and add or remove a jumper?  Cant remember.

  Jacuzzi has the instructions on the back of the control box panel.  Sundance probably has the same??

If he wants water above 104 degrees, tell him to move to Las Vegas. When I get home my tub is over 104 until the sun goes down. It is 105 degrees right now and we have been hitting 110 degrees. Next month we wil be around 118 degrees. Can you say Hot, Hot, Hot.......

My 2005 Sundance has had a change made (a jumper moved IIRC) that allows me to set the temp at up to 108 deg. F.  I didn't ask for this, it was this way as delivered.  While I don't find a need to exceed 104, I guess some might.  I'd check with a doc first though, to avoid health risks!

Exactly what I was going to say.  My Artesian has had the heater turned off for a few weeks, and I still have to prop the cover open to keep the water temp below 105.  And it isn't even summer yet...

If the spa is older than (I believe) April, 2006 and is the 850 controller (LCD), then the overide is just a jumper change to allow the temp to go to 108 degrees.  Newer models are not quite as simple.
