Title: What to do w/Water While Tub is Dead??
Post by: bohms on June 07, 2008, 10:07:30 am
Looks like our spa pack was fried from the lightening that hit across the street from our tub (unless it was just a coincidence).  We are waiting for a new spa pack to be shipped from Artesian in Las Vegas.  By the time our tech decides to show up at our house we're probably looking at a another couple of weeks (and it's over been over a week already).  What do we do with our water in the meantime?

Drain it if it is going to be any lenght of time. If it is only a short period, super shock it when its up and going.

Do you normally use chlorine?  If so, just throw some in there every few days to get the level up to the 5ppm range.

Serjical - no, we use bromine......I'm thinking we might have to dump it like Hillbilly said.  I was trying to avoid that but maybe we have no choice?
