Thanks to the input of the board we are now leaning heavily toward a HS Grandee.
$9300 including steps, delivery, 3 months of chems, no stereo. Is that a good deal or should we squeeze a little harder?!!
Thanks..........we wet tested today and loved it.

In our neck of the woods, that would be an exceptionally low price. Go for it.
My only question is are you getting a cover lifter with it. If not, add it to your purchase. It will make your life easier. You will use the spa more. It is one big cover.

Very good price. I'd crack six figures if I could sell it that low!
-
I was quoted $11K for one with a stereo in February. Sounds like you got a good deal.
Scott ;)

I wish to have that much money
-
Is the price quoted for a new '08 or possibly an '07 floor model. Either way, that's a great price for the Grandee 8-)

The price is for a brand new 2008. We are picking the colors, going with the Pearl shell and Coastal grey exterior. I said the chemicals were included but reading the contract looks like they are just bringing enough for start up.
We have not signed the contract yet, really wanted a stereo but this is pushing us past our budget as it stands.

The last few tubs I have had have been Grandees. I like the room, and the jets fits us just right. The high seat in the back was my cooling seat, and the two buckets in the two buckets in the corners are different from each other so we enjoy the variety.

We definitely think this is THE ONE!!! No need to shop around anymore.
Only problem now is the pre-buyer's remorse with such a big expenditure and making sure this is something we will put to good use since we don't have enough time in the day as it is!

The Grandee is my hottest seller right now with the full SpaStone surround.
The price you have been quoted is very good.
Good luck! :)

Term, is that stone surround costing more? It looks like it would be expensive. I love the look..

I ordered a half surround, and I haven't had a chance to build the deck around it yet. Bad choice - I need to get to work!! The brochure looks Sooooooo gooooood, I got excited.

See what I mean? I love the look - but I have to do the work.

We sell it for around $1200 for the full surround, I think. My brain be fried.
You can see the partial surround in our Tyler showroom by clicking on this link and taking the virtual tour:

I've got a couple more that have called back about it today. It does definitely give you an alternative to the traditional redwood look. From what I understand, more variations are forthcoming.

Both the partial and the full wrap are about the same price. The difference is that the partial has a step which spans the entire front of the unit, while the full wrap has an optional 48" wide step.

that really looks nice

Is that something that I could have added on to my tub in the future?
Glue it on myself?

Currently only available on Grandee and Vista. Designed to fit on spa shipped with no skirt; instead special plywood backing.
I doubt they will make an aftermarket product to fit older spas.
The solution:
A new spa in a few years. ;)
