Hello All - We are just about to start the process of finding the right hot tub for our family. I know that one of the most important factors is finding the a good dealer. Have any of you had positive expereinces with dealers in the Seattle area that you would like to share? Thanks!

I would check out this Arctic Spa dealer in the Seattle area.

Aqua Quip also good guys to deal with. Or hey come see me in Bellingham, Where do you live?? I cant step on anyones toe's.
Apollo spas, not bad! Award winning only after 2 years or less, must not be tough to get an award?? ;D Teasing of course. One of their main guys of I believe 14 years works for us now. Matt the owner is a different fellow if you know what I mean. :o

She runs a great company, with an outstanding reputation. One I believe would even rival you Term.

You mean they win the award for winning the most awards? :D

Go right to the Clearwater factory and see all the tub models, 20 miles from seattle. Meet the people/company and see how they make them.

I don't think anyone mentioned Artesian (I own one so I'm biased) :) or Marquis. Check to see if you have dealers in your area. I would go to each dealer that everyone mentioned and get a sense of what you like and don't like and that'll narrow it down a little then you should wet test. Good luck.

He was asking about specific dealers but if the question was about the better spa manufacturers out there (and its certainly best to look for both a top dealer and a top spa maker) here is what my short list would look like. There certainly are others people will mention but hey, its my list!! :):

Look for the best of both worlds. A premium quality built, energy efficient spa sold by a well respected, knowledgeable dealer who'll be around to care for your needs after the sale.

Jacuzzi Jim was a great resource for me while I was shopping for a Spa. I would recommend you go see him even if you are looking at other brands. Granted I ended up with A Jacuzzi but he gave me good advice on other brands I was considering. Just don't ask him about Hot Springs. ;D ;D ;D I kid, I kid......

Thansk for all of the suggestions - I will check'em out.
Jacuzzi Jim - We're in Seattle, close to the Arboretum. Are we within your striking distance?
-
Wouldn't be the end of the world if I sold and delivered down there. If you are interested in Jacuzzi check em out and see which one you like and see where we are price wise?? We should be close to where Aqua Quip is, most likely less. Although they can get to you quicker warranty wise, should there be a problem. We had a store in Totem lake for awhile, and sold many a Artesian before closing it down, it was just to far from Bellingham to make a go of it, luckily we haven't had many issues with those spas, so warranty work is doable.
We have a beautiful store in South Mt Vernon if your interested in a trip up, I can meet you there. Let me know!!

Thanks Jacuzzi Jim, I'll definitely be in touch...

We wet tested 10 spas and settled on the Pacific Calypso. Well built spa with great hydrotherapy that is quiet and looks good. There is a dealer in Tacoma. Website is http://www.pacificspas.ca/index.htm.
Spatechs recommendations are also worth checking out as fit is the most important.
