What a beautiful tub and set-up! ;D
How do you like the offset umbrella? I'm thinking about doing the same thing this summer.
Of course, right now, the only thing it would do is block the snow!

Do you have safety locks for your cover searchinginfl?
-
Wow! Beautiful setting! Do you ever get gators in your tub? :o
-
Nice set up.
I like the position of your top when it's open....tends to shield the neighbor. ;)

Do you have safety locks for your cover searchinginfl?
My 2 front panels came with a dent in them, and the replacement panels just came in. I will install the locks when they install the new panels. The baby is never out there alone, and can't lift the cover anyway, but you never know! (Also, I take the steps away when not in use)
I don't know how to do multiple quotes....so.....the screen keeps the gators out, but the lizards are another story. I found one stuck to/sucked into my intake yesterday....yuck.
The umbrella is great, it is not the kind to go under the hot tub. It needs a patio brick to keep it down, but it swivels all around. I love it!

Beautifull view!!! I love the river/lake right off your backyard.
We have friends that live just outside of Tampa that also have problems with lizards in thier pool
-
I WILL NOT show this to my husband. He just came home from visiting his mother in Tampa and is ready to move...just like every time he visits!
Your set up is just beautiful, especially inviting as we are in the low 30's right now with clouds :(...and I know they are a pain, but I love those little lizards. :-?They help keep the bug population down! ;)

I don't mind the lizards, and that was the only one I have gotten in the tub. I think they are kind of cool, except for the little lizard poops around. If you notice the white dots in the view, it is a flock of white ibis that hang around, sometimes around 100 are in my yard! We are less than a mile from the everglades, and that water is directly connected, so we get a lot of amazing birds...Heron, eagles, ibis, ducks as well as turtles and gators and mosquitos.
I miss the change of seasons though, but I don't miss shoveling, or scraping ice off my windshield at 6 am to go to work. I love that I spend every day playing outside with my kids, though my 10 year old wishes he had snow to play in!

Yeah, it's real nice Ivie. Same color combo as we're looking at!

The color is amazing.....shows NO water spots, which was one thing I noticed on all of the floor models that had the smooth finish shells.

I love the lights on the outside of the tub. Are those from the factory? I wanted to put similar lights on my tub, but there was no gap between the siding and the tub lip to allow for the low voltage wiring.
Do the exterior lights change color with the tub lights?
-
That was one of my favorite features of this tub. Yes, the lights came from the factory, standard, and they change colors with the inside lights. They can be set to go on and off at the same time every night too.
BTW, it's a Caldera Niagra.

When I bought my tub from Hot Spring, I wanted exterior lights on the tub. HS has some which are added aftermarket by the dealer, but they strongly urged me not to get them as they have regular problems with them.
Caldera is made by Watkins too. Maybe HS needs a field trip to the Caldera plant? I probably should add this to the "What would you change" thread!
Thanks,
Rich

Marquis just added more exterior lights to their '08 line.
I'll be in FL in a week. Ivie's pics have me jumpin' to go!
