I;am looking at a used waters edge 4 person spa i think it is about 5 years old . Does anyone no anything about these . I know the are out of bus.

That should tell you something.  I'd stay away from buying a spa when the manufacturer is gone.  How would you get parts in the future?  They probably did use "off-the-shelf" products, but I'd stay away.  Go with a brand that is still in business.
