Title: What a soak!

 It has been sleeting here the past 2 days and isn't suppose to quit until tomarrow and since last year I never ventured outside during an ice storm, I thought I'd give it a go. Man oh man was it it refreshing. Much better than I had anticipated. The only thing is that once I got out and put my cover back down I sliced my finger pretty good on a piece of ice attached to my cover's skirt. Ouch!
Anyone else ever soak in freezing rain before?

Snow and Rain... yet to try freezing rain.. but I bet it was nice!

Got the tub in June so I haven't had the chance yet, but that time is coming.  Did soak in the snow a couple times already.  Very nice!  8-)

Funny, After reading about the spa blanket on Vinny's thread and I am remembering a time that we adjusted the spa cover ( we have the covermate III lifter) so that it was slightly tilted over the tub when opened. We hung the spa blanket from the cover and made a little tent so that we could soak in a downpour of freezing rain. It was great and so cozy!!  ;) ;D

Love to soak in the snow, hate to soak in the rain. Freezing rain doesn't sound like fun at all!

I was out in same ice storm both in the evening and again next norming.  I did wear a hat.  Really enjoyed it.

I wish it would get cold enough to freeze.  Oh yea,  I wish it would rain too.  We are in the midst a record drought here in bama.

I heard it was pretty bad down there!  People selling horses dirt cheap...and a bale of hay going for astronomical amounts of money!

Yup!  It gets colder than hell here, and when it is not snowing, it is freezing rain.  I usually kick the temp up to 104, just to make up for the rain.  It is a blast!

After 4 days of either freezing rain or ice, we're just expected to get rain today!  :)
Supposedly, it's gonna get into the upper 40s. I know the line men and vegetation could really use the break.
