Title: My most relaxing soak to date
Post by: solo on December 03, 2007, 07:47:14 pm
104 degrees in ther tub

50 degrees outside

No kids...no wife...just me, the tub, and a big  glass of green tea.

45 minutes later I was as relaxed as I've been in months.

Question:  do you all stretch after getting out of the tub?  It seems to help me keep my muscles less tense for longer if I do.

I actually do stretching in the tub as a therapist advised it was good to stretch while in the warm water.  She gave me some basic excercises to do after I get in, then I just soak, and get out.  No stretching after.

I usually soak before bedtime.  When I get out, I add the dichlor, and then go inside and stretch for about 30 minutes.  Body is nice and warm and relaxed so I can get some really deep stretches in afterwards.  When I'm done stretching, I know it's time to close the cover.

Yes. Everyday after my morning soak, I do a 20 minute yoga routine.

We also stretch while in the tub, then use the inversion table when we get out.
