Another one of those $$$ mysteries. I just picked up a new filter from my local
Artic Spa dealer for $37.95. Why is it that US dealers can sell them for $24.95?
Heck they are manufactured 1 hour away from where I live (in Canada)?
Even with shipping I can get them cheaper out of the US.

Simple fact of pricing is set at the start of the year. The US dollar was much higher so they could buy more and when you buy more you get better price breaks. Online there is no huge overhead. Look around for the other # it goes by CF-4950
-
Also goes by FC-2390 now days.

How long do those micro pure filters last? I saw those guys at Aqua and they are sending me a few to try out. Any one have any experiance with them?

I don't know if you've checked for them on ebay, but I seem to buy more and more stuff off of there. I just got 4 new filters for my Jacuzzi, the last two sets I had were over 3 years old. New filters were over 60 bucks at the nearby hot tub store, I got these for 28 each and 12 bucks shipping.

what brand of filter did you get. the original Jacuzzi filters with the removal lid? or is it a knock-off like unicell, filbur, or pleatco.
I ask only to see if you can really get the same product for 1/2 price or is it cheaper because its a knock-off

Knock off, Unicell. My last pair of Unicell filters lasted as long as the OEM filters though.
