Title: Stuart Checking in
Post by: stuart on November 05, 2007, 05:50:25 pm: Well, I officially know what it feels like to be "gutted" like a trout! They pretty much cleaned out my left side.

They are confidant that they got it all however. I feel like they left a live alligator in there by accident during surgery. Something is sure biting the heck out of my guts!!

Honestly I really appreciate your caring thoughts and prayers...I can truly say that I feel God has it all under control but he want me to let him deal with it.

I woke up Saturday night at 8:30 in a dark room, looked over and saw SpaMan setting quite with a worried look, I have no idea how long he was there but I'm glad to see there are no pictures of me drooling through the tubes coming out of my face posted here.

I'm going nuts guys! I've never been down this long in my whole life!

Well, believe it or not typing this has worn me out....Thanks again for the thoughts.

We'll be waiting for your occassional visits during the recovery process. Our prayers are with you and yours for a full recovery.

Post by: stuart on November 12, 2007, 11:18:16 am: Dr.s really don't have a clue about spas....The only place I don't ache and have intense pain is when I soak in the bath. My Dr. said I can take a bath as often as I want but cannot get in the spa.

The bathtub has no way of cleaning bacteria the spa does...I will follow his orders for now but soon I will just ignore that, make sure my spa is clean and soak several times a day to aide in healing!!

It's amazing how taking gravity away can relieve pain...

For those that don't understand...I told spaman if he was a real friend he would stop by each day and pull me around the block in a little red wagon so I could get some fresh air. So far he hasn't showed up :-?
