It depends - washing it down - bleach and water. If it has grime - I've used baking soda on paper towels (raises PH and alkalinity) and I've used the magic eraser.

Kim, is there something in particular that is on the spa that you need to clean off?  Are you just referring to general maintenance?  I have a tub scrub that I use.  You can dunk a rag in superchlorinated water.  Kim, take a deep breath, get in that tub and relax!

Ok tinybubbles, I see you see I'm stressed.  It was the floor model so it has some spots along the top & I don't want to use the wrong thing.  THANKS!!

You can try to superchlorinate water or just used some diluted bleach.

There are also various spa specif products for this- I've used Baqua and Brilliance's (same stuff, or at least it used to be) surface cleaner with good results.  It's a gel that you apply with a scrungy pad thing, and it can be used with the water still in the spa or when you drain it out.  Gets off all kinds of stubborn stuff, like the notorious Baqua Scrunge, etc.....
It's very effective at removing waterline deposits too.
