Either baking soda or the overpriced stuff at the store.  Same results.

Yep, baking soda. ;)

Go to: http://www.taylortechnologies.com/pool-spa.asp.  Follow the link to analyze your water.  It will tell you how much to add (it's good for most chemicals, too).  But read it carefully and get ready to do some 'sypherin' because it will only take a minimum of 1000 gallons before it will do its calculating.
