Is there anything I need to know when changing a spa from Bromine to Chlorine? I have researched and found that the Chlorine route is much cheaper.
I have only had a Bromine tub so if there are any differences as far as chemicals, etc when using Chlorine please let me know.
Thanks as always for answering my dumb questions.

#1 thing you need to do is drain and start with fresh water.

Chlorine was cheap and easy, I had no problems with it. I'm going to switch to bromine this weekend and see how it goes. We are not using the tub as often as we were so I think bromine might be better for right now for us. Probably this time next year I'll do dichlor in fall-spring and use bromine in summer but we'll see.

I have had a hard time since day one with Bromine...thats why I want to switch to Chlorine....I couldnt keep any levels where they needed to be. Good luck if you switch.

Keep us posted on the switch. It may be the spa operator instead of the chemicals in my case. I guess I will see when I change to Chlorine.
