I told you all that I would post the outcome of my service tech research.
Spa Retailer Magazine published it in their maiden addition as a story I wrote called Service Techs: The Hot Tub Physicians.
This is a great magazine that we have waited a long time for. It's the first "Spa Only" publication I've seen and I'm proud to be part of it..
Thanks for all your input over the last few months on technicians...You will see more to come in the next several months.

So, how does one get this magazine? Have not heard of it until now.

I just got mine today and have really enjoyed reading through it. The publishers did a great job.
What is really cool is reading the spa manufacturer's ads soliciting new dealers, for example:
CalSpas- "Outstanding dealer profit margins and incentives."
Freeflow Spas- "Five unique models retailing under $3,995...40% profit margins."
Leisure Bay Spas- "You'll see how after 30 years of manufacturing spas, we're still building the most innovative- and profitable- spas on the market."
Master Spas- "Master Spa dealers have an advantage- a stroke of genius behind every product and higher margins on every sale."
I interpret this to mean "our spas are overpriced".....with the exception of Freeflow (they are evidently cheap, cheap spas...and proud of it!)
It also amused me to read how many of these companies just come flat out and say they are the best in the industry. Very interesting reading.
I can't wait for the next one!
