My cousin lives on the Indian River in lower Delaware. I thought you all might enjoy seeing his beautiful house and view of the river from his tub. He has a CalSpa, and the outdoor kitchen on his deck. I looked in the spa and there were little piles on sand on the seats...Made me kind of sad that the tub gets virtually no use, other than their grandchildren once in a while. Like I told him, he must have just wanted a deck o ration. What an expensive one :-/

What a fantastic setting. Those shots (especially the river shots) confirm for me that the Mid-Atlantic States are one of the best areas of the country in which to live.
Maryland used to call itself "America in Miniature". Mountains to the west, rivers and the Chesapeake in the middle and the ocean on the east. And all 4 seasons.
It certainly is "the land of pleasant living" to quote an old, old National Bohemian (Natty Boh) beer jingle!

Wow 8-)

Very nice!!

I just noticed the TV hanging in the bar. I wonder if it pivots so you can watch "Entourage" and 'John in Cinncinnati" while you're in the tub? I'm coming over Sunday night!

Here's a view from the front of the house

That is a great place/area.
The Inidan River is just off the Delaware Bay. My husband and I had a place in that area and a boat to fish from, (in our younger days). That bay can get mighty nasty when a storm is brewing. But the pictures tell it all, it is a beautiful place, and your cousin sure has it looking beautiful.

If you look at the second picture, the one of the outdoor kitchen, you will see the exact same tub in the neighbor's yard!
That last picture that I posted was in Ocean City Maryland off the bay. It is a restaurant/bar that is set up like a beach in Jamica. Awesome!! There are even chickens running around. The picture shows large floats and tables and chairs in the bay where you can be served drinks and food. It is really a cool place to spend a few $$$$!

Wow, very nice. What does he do for a living?
-
Beautiful! Maybe we should all offer to go and keep the tub going for him. ;)Wouldn't want the chemicals to get out of balance.

That would be Seacrets. Awesome place even when it's not summer time.
BTW, that is one sweet setup your cousin has going.

Yep, Seacrets, ;) I was wondering if anyone would recognize it!

Seacrets. Boy, that brought back some memories. I say "some" because the last time I was there was with a pack of now middle-aged, drunk fraternity brothers. My recall of the night is better early on. Later,...not so much. I do remember there was a half eaten cheese steak sub in my room the next morning. I'm kinda glad I can't do that on a regular basis anymore!

I can eat a whole cheese steak sub in one sitting still! ;)

Rich,
I guess you are too young to remember the Hurricane..or are you?
You are not supposed to order Cheese Steaks at Seacrets!! More like Jerk Chicken and a Dirty Banana! We go at lunch because it is a family type crowd. At night, the crowd changes completely! :o :o
Our waiter explained that they can serve drinks in Maryland if they are under the drinking age, but as soon as their shift ends, they scoot them out. So you can't stay and party where you work until you are legal at 21..Kind of crazy ;)

The Hurricane and the Paddock. Oh Boy.
One of my friends was the bartender at the White Marlin when we were in college. We would go there early to get loaded and then hit the usual bars. Tio's, Fager's, The Hobbit, etc. I swear I have walked from the Atlantic to the Pacific along Ocean Hwy. When we got older, it was Dewey. When we got wiser, it was Rehoboth. But not wise enough to buy an place "downey oshun, hon"! :'(
