I am now a happy spa owner 8-)! Everything went pretty smoothly Friday with the exception of me being last minute getting the patio pressure washed due to thunder and lighting the day before. I got up early and worked for almost 3 1/2 hours before they came, but well worth the effort as patio was disgusting with green and black mold. Now looks almost new (with the exception of the cracks LOL!). My next goal will be some inexpensive, but effective privacy screening, but for now the shed on one side and the spa cover work pretty well. Initial soak Sat. night and I hopped in again tonight. Time just seems to fly -- 45 minutes gone before you know it. I am seriously loving "circuit training" through all the seats. Best routine so far -- 3-5 minutes in each seat with a sip of wine in between each move [smiley=grin.gif]. Thanks for everyone's invaluable help in getting me started! Melissa :)
Edited so that pictures actually appear. ::)

BTW, I resized pictures -- why are they coming up so big?!
Oh, never mind . . . these seem better.

Very nice setup, KY Girl. I see you got the Covermate lift from your dealer. I really like the way it looks. Good luck and enjoy!
You are gonna love that Prodigy. Although I think my old Prodigy looks better. Ok, maybe not. ;D :D

Oh, it's a HotSpring? OK. Now I see the faint resemblance.
Good looking setup, enjoy it.

The guy in the red shirt seems to really enjoy hanging by the window.....you might want to pull you shades down. ;)

;)Well, if I ever decide to get out for longer than 5 min. at a time I'll think about inviting someone else over.

ROTFLOL! You know that is the Electrician. A very nice "retired" gentleman. (who probably works just as much if not more now that he's retired) However, as I looked back at the pictures I took I have no idea what he was doing at the window when the hook up is a lot closer to the door. No matter, that's the kitchen window. As long as he stays away from the bedroom. ;)

Wow! That must have been heartbreaking when it first happened :'(. I'm sure it was lovely before all the extra timber arrived on the scene. Reminds me -- I gotta call my insurance agent tomorrow and make sure spa is on my policy. Thanks for the unintentional memory nudge. :)

Make sure you have a "replacement policy' on your house. It costs a bit more, but if there is a loss, it sure helps. In my case, that 93 Prodigy morphed into a 06 Envoy. I was very happy with my insurance company and how they handled the situation.

Yeah - I don't have any trees which could 'fall over' onto my spa like that. How long did it take you grow one, and how did you determine exactly which way it would fall? ::) ::)

Uprooting a fully grown tree moving it right next to the old tub
- A pain in the butt.
Keeping the termites on the side of the tree facing the old tub
- A bigger pain in the butt.
Being able to pick out a new tub and leave the price negotiations to my insurance adjuster and a pack of hungry Hot Spring salespeople.
- PRICELESS!
