Title: Marquis price
Post by: minnymark on July 17, 2007, 08:31:29 am
Seriously interested in the Marquis Epic. Quoted a price of $9495 for a new '07 not including tax which includes:
cover
chemical starter  kit
delivery
GFI for the electrician
chrome rings for jets
2 sets of cedar steps

Does this sound about right? Thanks

Much cheaper than they sell for in Oregon.  The Epic is an awesome spa you won't be disappointed.

Where they are made.

It looks like some nitwit selling hot tubs for far less than they are worth.

I noticed there is no ozone or cover lifter listed.  It will be worth your while to add those even if you have to pay another $500.00 or so.

I am fairly certain the Marquis are standard with a lift and ozone.

It appears on their web iste that ozone is standard.  They don't mention a lift.  It seems to me that would have to be a dealer option.

Even if he had to add a lift (and I am betting it is included), that is still a great price! ;)

The lift is included. So is the ozonator. Sounds like this is a good deal.

We looked at the Marquis spas in Oregon and found them to be priced higher than others have posted elsewhere in the country.  It must have something to do with the inverse relationship between the distance from the factory and shipping charges.  Go figure. ;)

Canuck here so not sure about price.
Not sure about the chrome jets and how they stand up.
Get at lest one set of backup filters and yes a lifter to close the deal.
Make sure the remote spa monitor is in there too, it is a great feature.

Steve

BTW Hi Boni

Hey Steve,
I thought of you the other day when I cleaned my tub. I almost forgot to put the waterfall tray back over the filters before I turned the tub back on :o....I remembered the giant waterfall that you made for your kids by doing that on purpose!  ;D ;)

Hope all is well and you are enjoying your tub.

That's about $400 less than our best price for the same options....

Boni,
you should see what it is like when your working on one of those waterfalls and someone turns it on without the tray there! :o

Congratulations - you will love the Epic!  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]  We have one too and have owned it about a year now.  Our favorites is the deep therapy chair and the therapy pillar.  Post some pics once everything is up and running if you can.

Hello, Minnymark!  I just found this forum after looking around at P&S Forum...I like the fact that certain angry posters are 'contained' over here!
To the point, I was looking into Marquis, and saw that you got a great deal on your tub. I was wondering where you are located, so that I could possibly use your price as negotiating tool.  Since this is my first posting, I can't send you a PM yet to inquire your location.  Would you mind PM'ing me with that info or listing it here?

Congrats on a very nice tub!

Thanks,
Mr.B
 :)

The therapy pillar I think is something most people wonder about until they have it in their home and than they quickly appreciate how you can hit just about any part of your body with it. You do not have to be in a seated position to use it.

Congratulations and enjoy your new spa....
