Hi -- Does anyone have any experience (good or bad) with the Eco One System. It is sold by pacific sands inc. Are there any advantages to using it?
Thanks, Mike

Sorry Mike, but I have never used it.

Thanks Rich for responding -- it looks like no one is familar with it. And as near as I can tell it does NOT replace the sanitzer and shock needs but adds other stuff to keep your water clear. Anyway thanks again.
Oh by the way just got an email from the guy from ***** spas. I will be posting it tomorrow if I get a chance -- pretty amazing!
blessings Rich,
Mike

If you do a search for Eco one you'll find a small number of threads talking about it - most comments were positive.
This is also the system my dealer has suggested for my soon to be delivered tub (end of next week apparently - seems to be some confusion about how long 4 weeks actually is).

caribbeansun,
Just curious, what kind of hottub did you choose. I am almost done with my patio and need to make a decision soon.

I will certainly look forward to that!

Eco One is an enzyme system that works as a bacteriacide. There is a similar system, The Natural, that is sold and explained at rhtubs.com. There are users of these systems that swear by them. They tend to be very easy on the skin. They should be used with a low dose of chlorine, though many don't but this would be risky, IMO, because these are not sanitizers. Like ozone, silver, copper, etc., they do help but tend to be expensive and are not magic cures that eliminate the need for a registered sanitizer.

I bought a Piper Glen made by Artesian.
