Hi all --(mike the lieing wicked one)

I am sure this question has been asked several times but I can't find it anywehere so here it goes again!

I will be taking delivery of a new spa this week -- hopefully -- and I wonder what test equipment I will need. Taylor has several sets for spas and I woudl like to know what is one that does what I need. They have a deluxe (k-2006) which is more that the DPD kit. Waht do people recommend for a home hot tub?

Thanks in advance

Mike (the wicked liar)
who says I am senile?

Mike (the wicked liar) ;)

I think you will find that most here use a Taylor kit of some kind or another.  I personally use the less expensive (than the #2005) Trouble Shooter kit.  It will test for Chlorine/bromine, pH and Alkalinity,  I take a water sample to my dealer to test for hardness and CYA.  The Trouble Shooter kit sells for about $15 American or about $35 Canadian due to stupid packaging laws
