Pics of New Vanguard!!! Wife and I love it!!
« on: May 24, 2007, 10:02:29 am »
Vanguard was delivered yesterday about 4pm. Filled up and started heating around 5pm. Was up to 102 by 10:30pm. Initial water temp going in was around 55-60 degrees. My wife and I had our first soak last night at around 11pm and it was great!! So far the dual moto massage is my favorite seat. The tub looks amazing especially at night with the blue light on in the water. I was amazed at how quiet the tub is when the jets are totally turned off.

I got up this morning and ran 2.5 miles and came back and relaxed for 20mins before work. Awesome!!!

Enjoy the pics.

Hey where is the picture of the hot tub in action - i would like to see how thelights look at night as well.

So this particular tub is one that is on my short list along witha marquis and Caldera model.  The dealer want 8300 plus 395 for lift - I wan to tell them 8300 including the lift and see what they say (if I go with this tub).  Do you think this is a good deal?  what else did you try.  I can't wait to get mine purchased and installed and will post pictures as soon as I do!!  The driving all over the place testing tubs is hard thouh!!

I'll take more pics tonight and turn the flash off on my camera. The last pic I posted was at night but the flash went off messing up the blue glow of the water. I wanted to get in and test the tub out so I didn't take time turning off the flash and taking more pictures. I'll try to get some pics tonight of the tub with different colors and jets on, etc.

As far as the roof vents. I'm really not sure why we have so many. I guess to ensure enough ventalation.

Yes my wife is Very Nice ;) Thanks, lol.

Give it a shot, all they can do is say "no" or "we'll meet you part way" but if you don't ask you potentialy leave $$ on the table. Don't be offended if they say no, it may just mean that the price you are getting for the spa is a really good one and there isn't enough room for them to throw in $395 worth of accesories.

My advice for buying a spa is to buy it during end of year closeouts. For example we bought the last 2006 Vanguard in this color choice that our dealer had in stock. Paid around $8300 and that included, cover, cover lifter, setup and delivery, starter chemicals, steps, and TAX. Paid $900 for electrical install which included around 100ft of wire. Approx $4k for patio. I'm glad to finally be done spending tons of money.

Only thing left to do now is fix my poor grass.

I agree, that is the best time to shop for a spa but once the model changeover ends you won't get those deals again until next Feb/March (the typical times for this). Unless someone wants to wait 10 more months they probably couldn't get your kind of deal.

I agree with you also. If you want a tub right now then you can only haggle so much. If $500 is stopping you from buying the tub you really want then wait to buy the tub until you have saved another $500.

I honestly would find it hard to enjoy my hottub if I had bought myself another monthly payment. Debt is not relaxing.

Just a note I bought our tub around the middle of Dec 2006. I think if you wait until Feb or March most dealers are going to be completly sold out of the previous years models.
