Here is another thought, it may have been a leaking spa that they exchanged with another customer. Fixed it and are now reselling it. Nothing wrong with that if it is presented as such.

I would remove the cabinet and see if it looks like it be tampered with.


No matter the outcome it does sound like this dealer was trying to put one over you.

I have to think that it was a mistake.  That dealer has been around for quite some time...I checked before I even called them.  Also, how stupid do they think people are?

For the record it is an '06 and it was presented as such.
