Why Not, we're talking on two threads. Â My "hippie sister" maintains hers w/o chemicals and I thought that was somewhat unusual, but the Jacuzzi salesman yesterday said he would show me how to maintiain w/o chemicals also.BTW, if I b uy jacuzzi, should I get the optional ozonator? Â

There's nothing to discuss. One has to either use a chlorine or bromine routine, period. There are no other primary sanitizers for spas.
I can speak from experiance that that is just not true. Â 1. Thompson tech makes an ionizer (not ozone) that is 100% chlorine and bromine free. Â It produces copper into the water at a rate of .5 ppm. Â 2.Dimension One has a system called "Vision" Â If used corectly a customer dosent need any chlorine or bromine. Â (Made by N2)3. Salt Works great4. Hydrogen Proxide based systems5. Biguianide based systems (Baqua, Soft Soak, Free, Ect Ect. )I know that a lot of people are into n2 and chlorine and if it works for you great. Â But the FACT is that there are other methods of keeping water clean. Â
And they [glow]all[/glow] use chemicals.
Of course they do...I was responding to a comment that said its Chlorine or bromine Period... no other choices. Â I never said they were chemical free. Â Just chlorine and bromine free.
