SpAudio II and the new wireless I-Pod transmitter

I'm looking for info on the new wireless IPod transmitter for the SpAudio II systems on Hot Spring tubs.

-Does anyone know if you can add this to a tub that already has SpAudio II?
-I heard that you can receive a signal from your home stereo to your tub.  Is that true?
-What is the cost to add the transmitter, if it works with previously installed SpAudio II systems?
-Would my existing handheld remote work with the new transmitter.

Cost for retrofitting the unit should be around 500 bucks.  That's suggested retail, but your dealer would probably be willing to bargain with you since it is a new system.  It works really well.

My understanding is if you buy the Hot Spring version it will be compatable with your remote.  In other words, you will be able to use your remote to control the IPod.  

The Ebay one will work, but you will have no control at the spa.

I was wondering about that. In order for the transmitter to work, you would need to have one of the receivers connected to the stereo in the spa. You might be able to pull out the stereo and attach a receiver yourself, but I don't know if that's possible or not (and it may void your warranty?).
