Taylor Kit question

I just got a new Taylor kit. When testing for alkalinity, it says to add the drops one at a time and count until it turns red. Well, mine turns pink. Is that the same thing?

If its a bright pink yeah its not a prob put a couple more drops in and see if it changes to red if not then when it goes to pink use that as your number & multiply by 10 to get your reading The it wont go red like your R04 solution for ph if thats what your looking for.
