rotation of filters/cleaning question
« on: March 22, 2007, 04:22:32 pm »
HI-
I just want to know if the folllowing is ok.  My HS has 3 filters.  Each month I clean the filter that is used on the circ pump and then rotate them around.
Is that OK or am I supposed to clean all 3 each month.  That seems a little overkill to me since only the circ one looks visibly dirty.
We hardly use our jets when in the tub, so really they are only used during the clean cycle.

Best if you clean all three.  However, the way you use the tub, it sounds like what you are doing is fine.

Do you chemically clean filter or just hose off?  Need to chemically clean occasionally. :)

Thanks,  I clean with the filter cleaner spray and let it soak in for a bit.  Then rinse it off.  Just got one of those hose attachments with the "fingers" to help with that.  The other ones dont even look dirty, so it sounds like I'm OK.
