Off to the Santa Rosa Home Show.  Dealers around here think this is the beginning of the selling season.  Best weather for the show we have had in years.  No rain projected.  At the event:

Hot Spring (us)
Marquis
Coleman
Caldera
Soft Tub
D1
Bullfrog
Sensations (a regional assembler)
Phoenix

More than enough.  Sometimes I wonder why we are going. :)

Hey, Term.  "The world's best spa salesman" is working with us this week end. ;)

Good Luck. With that many spa companies a lot of customers will get "SPA DRUNK" from all the conflicting sales pitches.

P.S. Sensations took over (Purchased) u.s. tooling (Diamonte) spas last fall.  less of an assembler and becoming more of a manufacture.  I'm curious as to how they do.  They just booked the biggest booth at the del mar fair and the O.C. fair

Term, what makes the best spa salesman in the world so special? Does he work for the factory or is he an independent sales person? What makes him tick? Could he sell ice to an Eskimo? How are his Photoshop skills?

Who's Sherril?

What makes the World's Greatest Spa Salesman?  Passion, energy, sincerity, confidence, product knowledge...when he's talking to a customer, he does an outstanding job of making the customer feel comfortable with the product and with himself.  That's the basic essence of sales:  you are selling yourself, first and foremost.  It also helps if you are selling a quality product with a proven track record.

The Godfather owns a company called Spa Professional Associates and he travels around the country working home shows, fairs, etc.  He's worked with us off and on for around 20 years.

Sherril is his lovely and gracious wife. :)
