In line feeders like the rainbow 310 are a great way to goas long as you don't have a heater or any copper plumbing.  Even with a checkvalve and installed properly you will eventually eat away your heat exchanger.  I have seen heat exchangers go bad as quick as 2 years with a rainbow clorinator.  And of course it wasn't covered under warranty by the heater manufacture.

I have a Splash Superpool purchased directly from Splash because of no local dealer and they set me up with trichlor tabs with an inline feeder.

My mistake,
I should have clairified that "floating" tri clor tabs is a no-no.  With an inline clorinator that reduces most of the problems. Just watch your ph and hopefully you dont have a heater
