WOW that was cold

Well it was time, the water was a little tough to maintain so since the sun was out today I decided to change the water. �Well the sun went away and snow flurries started, neighbours must have thought I was nuts. It was so cold that the display showed an ice warning when I started it back up. � Also happy to report that there was no broken unions, loose jet pack hoses or "yuck" behind the jet packs

�Now if I could just speed up the heater I could really use a soak

My first refill was in 35 degree weather. It really wasn't that bad except for the heat up time after I got her filled. I also had the ICE warning.

I took your lead and my tub is filling up. It's 37� F, cloudy and windy. The other day I turned on the tub, turned on the air and the whole surface had a light foam on it - it was time IMO.

It wasn't too bad as my sump pump hose didn't lose prime (I hate when it loses prime) and drained as much water as I could using my cover pump.

Depending where the water temp starts, I may be soaking tonight ... I doubt it though.

This means that my Spa Frog test is going to be officialy on!

Good for you Vinny,

Now your neighbors think your nuts too. It wasn't so bad draining the tub (I'm used to working outside), the worst part was cleaning the tub surface, my hands were completely frozen. Glad to see another cold weather tubber toughing out a water change.

I'm curious to see the results of your spa frog test

I didn't get my hands too wet.

I never do anything to the shell unless it has a residue from foam.
