That was my first reaction...old information.  When I purchased my spa in 2002, Marquis used circ pumps and had what I thought was the ugliest spa available.  In 2003 they completely revamped their lines and have become a strong competitor.  I just chalk that info up to sales misinfo that is tilted greatly to one side. ;D

I have only sold Marquis and they used to use to a side by comparison guide but stopped 4 years ago, again exactly the way the auto business does. It was for sale people to see where and how your product stacked up. I must say its a lot of work to dig something like this up or I would think it would be. but hey if you want to I guess its good.....has anyone looked at a certain makers current or here in the now owners guide recommendation for ozone maintenance, it stops just short of suggesting you hire a haz mat team to come and help you....I wonder would it be of any help to anyone to post it here.....hummmmmmmmm no probably not.

Very interesting. The concept is fine but there are a few areas where the Marketing people act like .... Maketing people.

One thing that I found odd was the full foam comparison. It states what Marquis does for their full foam/e-wrap and then for the other guys it says full foam has "no bacteria inhibitor". Now if Marquis has a bacteria inhibitor then I understand the point that the others don't but it doesn't say they do. If Marquis doesn't use an inhibitor then the statement that the others don't is so wrong to make because it makes it seem like they're leaving somtheing important out. It was poorly worded, one way or the other.

There are other ones too that make me chcukle a bit as I can see where someone got a bit creative with the wording but what the heck, it's their comaprison sheet and I guess this just reminds me that I'd be no good in Marketing.

spa tech,

this is the foam that is used by Marquis and well you can read it for yourself....this is taken from the foam makers web site

"As an integrated insulation and air barrier, Icynene effectively minimizes air leakage and accompanying moisture (air leakage accounts for as much as 99% of moisture movement in a structure).  So effective is Icynene at minimizing condensation, moisture build-up, and the growth of mold or mildew, the product is often specified for use in museums, art galleries, and libraries where condensation control is critical to preserving the integrity of valuable collections."
