In the buff day or night. On Sunday mornings I get to wave to the church crowd behind my house! Fortunately (for them?) it is a long way to the church and there is a 6 ft fence and trees in between.

Some company is comfortable in the buff and some are not so I give them the option and try to be accomodating. However, amongst adults nekkidness is highly encouraged. My GF's sister made the mistake of making a big deal out of it so for her I broke out the red banana hammock instead of a regular suit!

But I certainly don't care for wearing a suit and don't wear one when company isn't around, day or night. But I have also taken some precautions by installing retractable screens to insure the neighbors don't have to suffer with an eyeful!

Unless they really want to make the effort...

Always nekkid.  I live out in the woods so the only people I've ever seen around here are hunters.  I just waited until they were out of site to get out.

I know many people tub nekkid.  My question is do most people tub at night when it is dark?  If it is daylight do you still tub nekkid?

I usually wear a suit during the day, but I don't like to.  We had a solicitor actually walk to the back of the side year where the tub is last year (the entire family was tubbing, so we were clothed) and so now I'm paranoid.

What do you do?

attach a gun rack to the side of your tub, and post a sign by the doorbell,
"OPEN HUNTING SEASON: SOLICITORS"   ;D

nekid is best and easier, less laundry

I've had that happen.  Nothing annoys me more than some uninvited salesman that decides to come down to the house and when no one answers the door, decides to stroll around the place.   >:( >:( >:(  IT really get's to me.  ( I also have a neighbor who has a few issues with alchohol wandering through our woods).   I've tried a couple of medium priced driveway alarms, but haven't found a unit that works well. Plus I hate having to take the alarm base unit out with me every time I step outside.

Friends and familly have learned to beep the horn when pulling in.  ;)

Get in with a suit on...take suit off...soak...put suit back on...get out.  Ladies, if you are more comfortable with a top on, wear a 2 piece suit and remove the bottoms in the same manner described above.

Simple.

We have a driveway alarm system that works well.  We are about 300 yards away from the road and the sensor is about 100 yards away from the house.   It will also hook up to your home alarm system. This is the unit if you are interested  http://www.homesecuritystore.com/detail_pages/annun.html

I tub "nearly nekkid (if there is such a thing).  See when I was younger I was a competive swimmer and wearing a speedo is "normal" to me.  I am probably more like 8% bodyfat and older and although I may still be able to "get away with it" but everyone would wonder exactly when I had lost my mind.  At beachs and the neighborhood swim club I wear a regular "baggy-style" pair of shorts.  If I am doing 20 or 30 laps in the lap pool, I'll wear the speedo under the regular swimsuit and simply take off the "slow-me-down" baggy swimsuit and leave it on the side of the pool while I do my laps (in the speedo) and then put it back on again while still in the pool.   But in the hot tub, the speedo is a safer bet than nekkid.

Nekkid here in Idaho as much as possible--usually only not when vistors are around.

Had a tough time coercing talking the wife into going "commando".  Now she does it more than I do! :)

Interesting statement.  Maybe I should challenge you to a race?  LOL.  I was primarily an IM specialist 200, 400 but also dove competitively.  I am thinking about getting back into the swimming gig this summer as a coach for our local neighborhood.  They've been swiming for years but the primary coach/leader was a guy who decided to open up his own swimming complex (about 1/2 mile away from our neighborhood entrance) and now I have a feeling that we may need people to help out once more.  My 11 year old has finally stated that he may be interested in getting into swimming competitively (for the team) so maybe that will be my next project.  Either way, I doubt I could compete with anything but a few grade schoolers at this point myself LOL.  I can still dive though.  Forward and inward 2.5's from a 3-meter board and such is still "within my grasp" whereas I am not crazy enough to attempt reverse 2.5's anymore (jump too high and come FAR too close to the board on that particular blind dive to me to try it anymore... Can see the doctor speaking to my wife now...."Ma'am, do you know EXACTLY why your 44 year old husband was attempting a reverse triple when he hit the back of his head on the board?.... Your husband "may" recover in the next few hours otherwise you will need to get your life insurance paperwork together... :-/
