Tony, that is exactly what I was going to say! Well, not the 50 year old part......but 8:30 *is* early on a friday! If I were going out, which I'm not (happily sitting here in sweats, and it is 5:30 for me) 8:30 would be the start of the night.

my buddy used to annoy me, because it never failed....I'd get to his place around 9pm for a night out at the bars raisin' the roof, and he'd be running around the house in jeans, socks, and still having to shower....his thing was never leave home til around 11pm, get to the bars and it's a cheap night instead of sitting there spending money for 6-7 hours getting soused.....I just didn't like to close the places, he didn't want to show up before everyone was drunk.....

So, why not increase your odds by going out late?

Friday night...
here in my neck of the woods, we sit around drinking beer, then line up the beer bottles and shoot them. �Then ....we go outside. �

Here in the rural south, all respectable southerners �have to have at least 3 mean dogs and a shotgun for every room. � The sole purpose; �guard the extra refrigerator on the front porch full of beer, AKA "beerator". �

......hmmm, it's about time to go outside. �
