Doc mentioned a new digital test strip reader that he was considering selling a few months ago and wanted someone to test.  I believe Vinny volunteered.  Check rhtubs.com to see if he is carrying it.

Not yet available. I have it on back order, from I think, 4 different suppliers  ;D
If you can't sell it on eBay, it may not even qualify as landfill.

If you want another "beta tester" when you finally receive them, I'd love to see how they work. :)

I use a LaMotte digital tester and it works great.  It's a lot more accurate than the test strips.  It's not that cheap, but I now feel a lot more confident in my water testing with these old eyes.  Here is a link

There are a lot of meters on that page.  Which one do you use?  Thanks

I use the PC-4A.  I have a bromine system.  The meter measures clorine, Alk & PH.  To get a true bromine reading, you get the total clorine reading and times that by 2.25.  Has worked great for the last 6 months.  I still have test strips left that I also use on occasion, but to be accurate I use the meter.

Thanks Bear, that price isnt that bad at all. I was looking online and saw all the $600 plus systems. How do you measure your TDS? I see that other meter at the bottom and wondered if you have that one as well.

Thanks again!!

Not Yet!  I'm a gaget FREAK!  If there is a gaget out there to do a job...I probably have it.  Have not had to worry about TDS as of yet.  The tub is at our weekend home, so it only gets limited use at the moment, but I have looked into it.  Good Luck!
