My guys were delivering a Jacuzzi J-345 3 years ago with my F-150 no less with the spa on a spa dolly, at 65 mph on a straight stretch. Some A-hole in a PT cruiser jacked up on c meth doing 60 swerved into there lane at the last second with some kinda death wish.

Anyway he hit them head on, the truck and PT was demolished, the driver of my truck disintegrated his elbow and blew his knee out,the passenger was ok (airbags saved them both)
The guy in the PT had two others with him sleeping in the back of the car,all 3 were in criticle condition but survied,he had only been out of prison for a week it was his mothers rental car with no renters insurance so we as a company were screwed. he is now serving life for attempted murder the other two I dont know.

As for the Jacuzzi it rocketed off the dolly into the back of the truck and flew off the side off the road,it snapped two 2" web straps the toung of the trailer folded up into psc and the trailer slammed into the back of the truck also.

We brought the spa back to the shop replaced the panels which to my surprise were not that bad, filled it ran it and resold it to someone else at nice discount, they have had zero problem since it was deliverd 2 1/2 years ago.   I was amazed at the condition of the spa and how well the trailer held up we replaced the toung and 1 tire and are still using it today.

My truck insurance took awhile but it was replaced.  Hertz rental claimed they owed nothing because the guys mom didnt opt for renters insurance and he stole the car from her anyway.  ::)

How odd. I have a similar story:

I had a brand X spa we took on trade. My son bumped it with a broom and it fell apart on the spot. Exploded into a pile of parts.

We replaced the shell, the plumbing, the equipment, the siding, the base, the insulation, the jets, the controls, the tile, the cover, the cover lift, and the water - spent $5000, took ten years and four months, and never could get it back together.

But the light worked.

Spatech,

You know its funny, I grew up in Windsor Ontario( for those of you who don't know its 5 mins across the river to Detroit).  We have always watched the Detroit TV stations for our news, travel across the river often for Tigers, Red Wings and Lions games and we often go across to the local bars and restraunts.  So none the less, I am very "Americanized".  If I travel in Canada any where north of Toronto people think I have an accent :-?

Now HS can be touted as one of the only TREE-PROOF spas manufactured! What a Great USP! ;D

I think that should be in all of your literature.... If you got trees...we got the spa fer U!
