Heck I'm surpised he was even able to get in the tub at that level!!!

.32 is pretty average for a hard core alcoholic. They could be quite functional at that level, in a bizarre sort of way of course.

.6 might kill the person with an untrained liver but I have seen a veteran walking and talking at .5 blood level before.

Those guys would start going into withdrawal if their blood level got down as low as .32!

It's a sad story.  

I recently took an ambien and still was having trouble getting to sleep.  I thought about taking a soak (late at night with a sleeping pill in my system) and then thought better of it.  Why mess around?
