This is my first year having a spa, so I haven't done it before but I plan on being in there when the new year begins. :)

We are having friends over tonight.  I told people that they are welcome to bring bathing suits.  I imagine the tub will get a lot of use tonight.   Maybe even around midnight!

To all, a Happy New Year!

Cheers,

G

Crap tonight is New Years Eve?  Seriously, I've been gone so long, I didn't even realize.  I'm sure I'll be asleep by 11 like every New Year, lol.

Well, I helped load in about 4 or 5 tons of tile yesterday. We are refinishing the floor of the fellowship hall at church. So I was in the tub last night, and first thing this morning. I might be in again this afternoon...

I couldn't have moved that much to save my life a year ago. Wow. I really endorse this excercise and eating right stuff. Give it a try.

But I think I may need a second soak this evening, to keep everything moving back there, and why not wait until midnight so I can welcome the new year in from the tub?

Great idea Bill!

For the last many years, we're always out on NYE, toasting the new year with a midnight dessert buffet and enought dancing to burn it all off. But perhaps after the party.......
Dance like nobody's watching

Chas,
I know exactly how you feel. I do tile/stone for a living and being self employed we stock are own jobs to keep overhead at a minimum, no matter how big the job. I say "we" meaning my dad and uncle who are the majority owners, but it's more like me stocking about 90% and them the other 10%. The biggest job I ever stocked by myself was 1800 sq ft of 18x18 porcelain plus 120 sheets of 1/2'' durock and about 50 bags of mortar. I wish I had a hot tub at that time but I was not as fortunate. I've since been fortunate enough to be able to afford one and I couldn't imagine living w/o it on days like that anymore.

Well the rain has started to really come down here and the winds are howling like crazy. I'm not sure if I'll be out there or not anymore. :(

We thought it would be cool to be in the tub tonight, but it has started to rain here too...and I had a sick thought. There have been so many accidental shootings..by people celebrating using firearms...I am almost afraid to be outside ...like a sitting (soaking) duck!!
The kids that live next to me like to shoot off shot guns at midnight.. :-/
